Toast has announced its sponsorship of the International Chamber of Commerce United Kingdom Trade & Export initiative, as the restaurant technology platform looks to strengthen its position among hospitality brands scaling between the UK and US markets.

The partnership will see Toast support ICC UK’s network of hospitality decision-makers, with a focus on helping operators navigate international expansion and operational complexity across multiple markets.

Mike Miller, COO International at Toast, said:

“The most successful hospitality brands inevitably expand globally — and when they do, they need a technology partner that’s already there and ready to support them.

We provide a unified operational foundation that enables operators to scale across markets with consistency and confidence, so they can focus on growing their business rather than managing complexity.”

Toast said it continues to expand its global platform strategy by combining software, AI, payments, hardware and fintech capabilities for hospitality operators. The company currently powers around 171,000 locations globally and says its “build global, act local” approach includes UK-based onboarding, sales and 24/7 customer support teams.

The announcement also highlights Toast’s growing footprint among hospitality brands operating on both sides of the Atlantic, including Chotto Matte, Miznon, Swingers and Carbone.

Kurt Zdesar, founder of Chotto Matte, said:

“Working with Toast has transformed how we run a multi-location business. The fact that Toast works in America and works in the UK seamlessly is super important.

“The platform adapts to the way we serve guests, delivers real-time insights across markets, and gives us the confidence to expand knowing our operations are stable and flexible.”

The move reflects a wider trend across hospitality technology, with operators increasingly looking for unified commerce and operational platforms capable of supporting international growth, multi-site management and cross-market consistency.
