Hotel property management software (PMS) provider, roommaster, has launched roommaster AI Connector, an integration that links hotel PMS data with AI assistants including ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini. It is available now to hotels on the latest upgraded version of roommaster PMS, and lets staff ask questions in natural language and pull answers from their live property data.
Hotel teams handle a constant stream of operational information, from arrivals and departures to outstanding guest balances, room availability and upcoming reservations. That information already sits in the PMS, but getting hold of it can mean moving between several screens, running reports and compiling data by hand, which can take time away from guests and staff coordination.
With AI Connector, a hotel manager could instead ask which guests are arriving today, which reservations need attention or what the coming week looks like operationally, and get the answer through an AI assistant.
roommaster lists several potential uses. Front desk staff can review daily arrivals, departures and reservation details, while managers can pull information for daily briefings. Accounts teams can identify reservation or balance information for follow-up, housekeeping can check room and reservation details for planning, and staff discussing revenue and performance can retrieve property information to look into questions about how the hotel is doing.
The PMS remains the source of the data, with the AI assistant acting as an additional way to query it. The connection is not switched on automatically: a hotel must configure the connector in a compatible assistant and approve it for its property, and can disconnect it through the assistant’s connector settings. What staff can see is subject to their permissions and access controls.
The connected assistant’s own terms and data-handling policies govern how it processes conversations, and roommaster advises hotels to review those policies before connecting business data. Features such as scheduled briefings, report generation, dashboard creation and mobile access depend on the specific assistant, account type and region, and are not guaranteed by the connector itself.
The connector forms part of roommaster’s wider platform for independent hotels, which combines property management software with tools for reservations, channel management and other hospitality workflows.
Najib Nassif, CTO of roommaster, said:
“We rebuilt roommaster for the agentic era, where AI works alongside your team on every shift. The reimagined roommaster was designed to share what it knows with the AI agents your team relies on, and AI Connector is where that starts. When AI understands your hotel as well as your best manager does, your team can spend its time on decisions and guests.”
