eBay has launched a dedicated trading card price guide in the UK, using its marketplace data to give collectors up-to-date information on the value of cards as the category continues to drive growth for the ecommerce giant.
The marketplace says it is the first online marketplace in the UK to offer collectors a dedicated price guide for trading card games, with the new tool drawing on up to two years of completed transactions on eBay.co.uk.
Collectors using the latest version of the eBay app can scan cards using their smartphone camera and view recent sales data for titles including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece and Disney Lorcana.
The tool supports raw cards and selected graded trading card singles and provides access to completed transaction data, including accepted Best Offer prices, with sales data updated within the previous 24 hours. Users can also compare sold and active listings and access PSA and CGC population report data to better understand the potential value and rarity of individual cards.
The launch comes as trading cards continue to emerge as a significant growth category for eBay. Collectables were the largest contributor to the company’s global gross merchandise volume growth during the second quarter of 2026. In the UK, Pokémon was searched more than six million times on eBay.co.uk during July alone. Interest is also growing across other trading card franchises, with searches for One Piece rising 55% month-on-month in January.

The launch follows eBay’s introduction of Authenticity Guarantee for trading cards in the UK earlier this year. The price guide is free for UK eBay account holders, with no subscription fees or usage limits, and began rolling out from 1 September.
