Majestic has opened a new store in Trowbridge as it begins a £4m investment programme across its bricks-and-mortar estate.
The specialist wine retailer plans to open at least four new stores during the 2026/27 financial year, alongside a programme of improvements across its existing UK portfolio.
Its latest 4,145 sq ft store in Trowbridge is Majestic’s first opening of the new financial year. Located near The Shires Shopping Centre, it stocks more than 1,000 high-quality wines, including a dedicated area for 72 Fine Wines.
Consumers can attend free wine tastings seven days a week and get expert advice from the Majestic team, all of whom are trained through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
Shoppers can also benefit from complementary services including free glass hire, bespoke wedding tastings, and the retailer’s unique ‘No Quibble Guarantee’.
Online shoppers can order from Majestic’s full range through its e-commerce website for free next-day delivery via the store’s dedicated electric van. Customers making their purchases online can also use Majestic’s highly popular ‘Shop Local’ proposition, which allows users to order from the stock available at the Trowbridge store, in real-time, for home delivery or click and collect within as little as four hours.
The new store will also support Majestic’s rapidly growing B2B division, Majestic Commercial, supplying wines to hospitality businesses in Wiltshire. The division works with 4,200 hospitality venues across the UK, including the likes of Manchester City Football Club, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts and Marylebone Cricket Club’s iconic Lord’s cricket ground.
