The Very Group has appointed Beckie Crane-Stanion as Marketing Director as the digital retailer prepares the next phase of its brand strategy.

Crane-Stanion will lead brand, creative and marketing strategy across the group, with responsibility for teams spanning brand, marketing and Very’s in-house creative agency HelloStudio.

She joins from jewellery brand Abbott Lyon, where she worked as consultant Global Brand Director. Before that, Crane-Stanion spent more than a decade at Frasers Group and was most recently Group Chief Marketing Officer. During her time with the business she led the marketing department through its elevation strategy, alongside CEO Michael Murray.

The Very Group operates Very and Littlewoods and says it generates more than £2 billion in annual revenue, serves 4.2 million customers and offers around 2,000 brands.

Sam Wright, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer at The Very Group, said: “Beckie has joined the business at an exciting time as we go into the next iteration of our brand journey.” He said the retailer is aiming to increase its reach and grow the Very brand further.

Crane-Stanion added: “I’m incredibly excited to join the team at Very. It’s such an iconic retailer with years of heritage and experience of supporting families. There is no better time to have a focus on how we serve this customer as we evolve the Very brand for its next exciting phase.”
